MEAN WELL continues the development of the NSP series of power supplies, which already covers models with a capacity of 75 to 750 W, and introduces a new flagship model, the NSP-1000. The novelty provides an output power of 1000 W, combining compact dimensions of 230 × 127 × 41 mm, extended functionality, a wide range of international certifications and a 5-year warranty.

The series is designed for operation in a wide temperature range from -40 to +85 °C (with derating at temperatures above +60 °C). The built-in fan with a noise level of less than 24 dB provides effective cooling, which allows the power supply to be used both in difficult industrial conditions and in environments where low noise is important. For integration into modern control systems, a CANBus interface is provided, which supports monitoring and remote control functions.
One of the key advantages of the NSP-1000 is the ability to operate briefly with a load of up to 200% of the rated power. In addition, the power supply supports software adjustment of the output voltage within 0–120% of the rated value and output current regulation in the range of 0–100%. The parallel connection function allows you to combine up to four modules (3+1 configuration), obtaining a total power of up to 4000 W, which significantly expands the possibilities of building scalable systems.
Additional benefits include ultra-low leakage current of less than 350 μA and compliance with 2×MOPP medical insulation requirements, ensuring a high level of electrical safety. This makes the NSP-1000 series an optimal solution for medical equipment, industrial automation, telecommunications equipment, security and video surveillance systems, smart home devices, semiconductor manufacturing, and renewable energy systems.
