EtherCAT distributed clock technology provides precise system synchronization: up to 300 nodes are supported at distances of up to 120 m, with a synchronization error of only 15 ns and a synchronization jitter of ±20 ns. Synchronizing the position loop with the system synchronization signal increases the accuracy and consistency of multi-axis drive systems.

To combat unwanted vibrations, an advanced jitter suppression function is provided, capable of simultaneously compensating for two types of low-frequency oscillations on the final actuator.

Safety is also an important part of the MD-730 series. Both the servo drives and compatible servo motors are equipped with thermal protection functions. Built-in sensors constantly monitor the temperature of the components, allowing for early detection of potentially dangerous changes and prevention of malfunctions.
